Our Repertoire
Over the past twelve or so years, Ensemble Vocal Syrinx has performed a variety of choral works, ranging from the Baroque era to more recent works that are more romantic or lyrical in style.
2007
Membra Jésu Nostri and Alles, was ihr tut by Dietrich Buxtehude, in Vence Cathedral. Missa Brevis by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Missa Brevis by Benjamin Britten and Missa Brevis by Zoltan Kodaly, at the Eglise Notre Dame in Nice.

Lauda per la Natività del Signore by Respighi. Performed in Vence Cathedral.
Mystical Songs n°1, 3 and 5 by Vaughan Williams, and Fauré's Pavane. Performed in Vence Cathedral.
2005
Beethoven's 9th Symphony, in the Salle Falcoz in Vence, with the support of the Estonian choir Eesti Filharmoonia Kammerkoor. Fantasia for piano, choir and orchestra op. 80 by L. V. Beethoven, with François René Duchâble, in Vence Cathedral. Handel's Messiah (with Syrinx Concerts) in Vence Cathedral and a Christmas Concert featuring traditional Christmas music in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Laetentur Coeli by Nicolaï Zielenski and the Messe de Minuit by M. A. Charpentier at Vence Cathedral. Christmas concert at the English Church, rue de la Buffa, in Nice.

The Nelson Mass by J. Haydn, in Nice, at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen and in Monaco Cathedral. L'Enfance du Christ by Berlioz at the Sainte Famille Church in Cagnes-sur-mer; the Création by J. Haydn in the Basilica in St Maximin; the Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach in Monaco Cathedral and Vence Cathedral.

L'Enfance du Christ by Berlioz in Vence. Ten-year anniversary celebrations with a 'promenade' concert in Cagnes- sur-Mer. A German Requiem by J. Brahms in the Basilica in St Maximin . Easter concert in Vence with extracts from Handel's Messiah.

A German Requiem by J. Brahms in Monaco Cathedral and in Leipzig (Germany), in cooperation with the Leipziger Oratorien Chor in Leipzig. English music by R.Vaughan Williams, B.Britten and E.Girdlestone in Vence Cathedral. Handel's Messiah in the Basilica in St Maximin.
