The Choir

Ensemble Vocal Syrinx is an international choir of about 40 members under the direction of Errol Girdlestone. We perform at a variety of venues on the French Riviera and in Provence, and have links with other choirs in other countries with whom we share a similar passion for choral music. Since its formation in 1989, EVS has performed a variety of choral works, accompanied by orchestra or organ, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music.

We are recruiting now, for all voices!

Please contact us if you are interested in joining. You need to have some experience of choral singing, or be able to play an instrument, and have a real passion for choral music.

Rehearsals take place every Wednesday evening from 8pm-10.30pm in Cros-de-Cagnes or Cagnes-sur-Mer and there is one Sunday morning rehearsal per month (10am-1pm).
